Shine Your Light Radio (SYLR), created in March 2007, was founded by Co-Executive Producers Daniel Harris and Tameka Wilson, two Bowie State University alums from Maryland. Daniel functions as the Music & Artist Relations Director, while Tameka holds the position of Business, Sales & Operations Manager for the organization. Both are equally involved with the creative authenticity of Shine Your Light Radio, and continually pour their gifts into it every week.
Powered by the IM4RADIO Broadcasting Network, Shine Your Light Radio launched its first show on Saturday, May 5, 2007, and Gospel recording artist Amos Saint Jean went down in history as the first guest ever to make an appearance on the program.
Created as a diverse Christian music show, Shine Your Light Radio brings listeners the very best in Kingdom music, talk and so much more. Every week, you'll hear everything from mainstream Christian artists to Independent
artists. You'll even hear an array of styles, from classic James Cleveland,
to Independent rock band Foolish Things. You'll also enjoy a sound mix of country,
jazz, soul, hip-hop, choirs, Latino, Carribean and reggae!

Furthermore, Shine Your Light Radio is a combination of 'good time' Kingdom
music blended with news, interesting topics and
discussions for listeners all over the world to enjoy. As a devoted
team, Daniel and Tameka aim to steer Shine Your Light Radio in
a unique and diversified direction using the message of Jesus Christ to
break barriers of race, culture, background, gender and age.
The official theme of Shine Your Light Radio
can be found in Matthew Chapter 5, verses 14-16 which confirms
that we are "the light of the world" and that we should "let (our)
light shine before men, that they may see (our) good deeds and praise
(our) Father in heaven." This is truly appropriate for a united team of
young people who want God to use and direct them and this radio ministry in
every way.

Daniel L. Harris, Music Direcor/Executive Producer/Host
Daniel L. Harris is a Communications graduate and proud alumni of Bowie
State University, located in Bowie, Maryland. There he engaged in the BSU Gospel Choir throughout his college career, and played an intregal part in the choir achieving many national competitions. As a child he began his
love of music at the age of six, singing in choirs, and winning Gospel
choir competitions when he formerly attended Mt. Nebo Holy Church in Baltimore,
Maryland.
Not only does Daniel have a deep passion for music, but he has a unique ear for talent and can easily spot new up and coming artists on the music scene. This passion has led Daniel to establish Dan Tha Fan (DTF) Management, as the founding CEO. Currently he manages such artists like Russ Shanks, a successful Gospel recording rap artist from Baltimore.
Presently, Daniel attends Full Joy Christian Ministries, Inc. located in Randallstown, Maryland. He is a devoted member, well-talented percussionist on the drums, and serves as the Audio Visual Support under the leadership of his parents, Pastors Russell and Carolynn Harris. He is also attaining his Master's Degree in Public Relations from the University of Maryland University College.

Tameka J. Wilson, Business Manager/Executive Producer/Host
Formerly known at Bowie State University as "BRO@DW@Y", Tameka J. Wilson is a young lady who has personality, talent, and a natural heart for
people. She served on the campus as co-captian of the tennis team for 2 years, Miss Junior 2003-2004, President of the Commuter Association, Miss Bowie State University, 2004-2005 and Miss National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame that same year. As an outgoing spirit, Tameka strives to inspire individuals to greatness.
Born in Savannah, Georgia and raised in Maryland, you can say that Tameka has an eclectic taste in music, style, and entertainment. In fact, her foremost passion is Christian arts, media and entertainment. Tameka endeavors to create an avenue where Christian actors, singers, dancers, poets, and the like won't have to compromise themselves, their values or their faith in order to be successful. This has lead Tameka to become the founding President of Twelve Gates To The City Entertainment, LLC a Christian media and entertainment company.
Today, Tameka also attends Full Joy Christian Ministries, Inc. and serves in various capacities under the dynamic leadership of Pastors Russell and Carolynn Harris.
